Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas is the second ship in the groundbreaking Icon Class, set to debut in August 2025 from Port Canaveral, Florida. Designed as the “world’s best family vacation,” this massive ship blends record-breaking attractions, innovative design, and a wide range of experiences for all ages.
This ship offers so much for families, but adults will find plenty of things to do without the kids. So while the kids are enjoying the largest water park at sea, you can relax at the Hideaway - an adults-only retreat. Or bring the whole family together to enjoy spending time together at any one of the many family-friendly venues onboard.
Take a moment to familiarize yourself with some of the most iconic destinations that you will experience on your journey! We've listed a few of the most popular things to see and do - but there is SO much more - we just couldn't list them all!
Port Canaveral sits on the east coast of Florida, about 50 miles from Orlando. Due to its proximity to the city, many cruise passengers will take the opportunity to spend a few days before or after their cruise to explore the many theme parks in the area.
Port Canaveral’s blend of world-class cruise facilities, strategic cargo operations, and connections to Florida’s tourism and space industries make it the second busiest cruise port in the world!
If you are in the mood to explore ancient Mayan ruins then you have come to the right place! Prefer water activities? Spend the day at a private beach club, or make your way to the Lost Mayan Kingdom water park. Another popular option - rent a golf cart and head down to the Krazy Lobster or any one of the many beach clubs!
If swimming with dolphins is on your to-do list then sign up for the Dolphin Swim & Snorkel at Anthony's Key Resort where you can free swim with the dolphins in their ocean habitat! This is also a destination popular for its monkey and sloth interactions, as well as zip-lining, ATV adventures, and of course diving & snorkeling!
As one of the top scuba diving locations in the world, offering a plethora of tropical fish and colorful reefs, Cozumel is an ideal spot to scuba or snorkel! Water not your thing? Take an excursion to the mainland and explore the ruins of Tulum! Shopping is abundant in Cozumel so explore the shops before returning to the ship!
Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in the Bahamas, offering a blend of thrilling adventures and relaxing beach experiences across more than 120 acres. If you would like to book a room on this cruise - even if it's not one of these exact rooms, click on the "Yes! I'm Ready to Book My Room!" button below to fill out the Pre-Booking Forms. You can let us know at the bottom of the first form which trip and/or room type you'd like to request.
